I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute

I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

I originally started this project in 2020. I messed up the inner support and the project went into timeout! It's now 2024 and I finally finished. I opted to not stitch the railing pieces and I like it better. The light gray yarn the comes in the kit is not as light as shown in the picture. I ran out of gray and MM sent me more strands for free.
Very time consuming putting together. It did not say to completely overcast all of the pieces before assembling so I had to stop and do that. I have been doing plastic canvas for 30 yrs and I enjoyed making it. Putting together not so much
I have stitched all of the pieces but haven't assembled it yet. The stitching part I found easy but I'm not sure about the assembly part. I think I'll save myself some trouble and hot glue some pieces . I have bought several of your kits and I'm glad you make them large enough to actually see the patter

This will really be cute when finished. For me it was/is very difficult to cut out. Otherwise this kit is high quality.

The instructions have 3 Rail pieces and says to refer to the picture for placement. However there are no rails in any of the pictures. I would have never cut them out if I knew the pattern/instructions did not properly include them.

I have done needlepoint for years but only a couple of needlepoint on plastic, so while I would say I have intermeciate experience with plastic I would be a beginner. I find the instructions not too clear particularly when it comes to overcasting. The instructions don't say when to do it, before I start or after I work the piece of plastic. Do I overcast the sides to be joined or is the joining the "overcasting." Other than that I really like the kit. I think it will be beautiful when I am done If I am able to do it correctly.
