I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute

I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

This is cute but I found it easier to do the stitching and then cut the canvas around the stitching. The pattern was very clear with the colors and placement of stitches.
It’s very cute. It’s not finished yet but feel pretty sure I will run out of blue yarn before I’m done. The amount of yarn in the kit seems somewhat skimpy.
I love the look. I can’t wait to make it. I should be a hoot.
I did this project as a beginner. Cutting out the bowl was a bit of a challenge as was sewing the sides together. Would recommend a square box for a beginner. Mine turned out okay, though.
The tissue box itself is adorable. The goldfish itself is a challenge and there was not enough blue yarn in the kit.

Found it difficult to attach the top. Had fun creating the goldfish box. Gave away to my sister as a gift she loves fish. Plan to make another for myself. When dividing colors for stitching hard to separate light yellow and white. If purchasing be careful, use very strong light to help you. Hard to thread yarn into needle. Recommend small amount of tape on end of yarn to help.
I like making this Fish Bowl pattern,I am still on it but seem to have less blue then called for, lucky that I had some of the same color.. the only thing that I find was that the colored chart, didnt match the colors. They were hard to see for this 83 yr.old but any way it is almost finished.
