I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

I bought this as a kit years ago. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was a section of the top rail that should have been reversed in the pattern. I found this out after trying to put it together. I ended up giving it to my great niece for Christmas. She received 3 different castles that year, but she liked this one best because it wasn't hard plastic. I bought some miniature frames and put portraits of the king in the great hall (pics of Elvis from the back of a calendar). She didn't know who Elvis was, of course, but her mom thought it was hilarious.

Has anyone else had a problem putting this beautiful pattern together? I am very experienced with plastic canvas but I'm questioning (for one) the different sizes of the top floor vs the main floor.
