This was a fun kit. Not only did I get to make the 3 loveys, but there was enough yarn left over for me to make 2 more in a patchwork way. The only thing to look out for is the washers they gave for the eyes were too big and didn’t stay on. I happened to have smaller washers on hand, but some hot glue would have worked too.

Wrong yarn

This pattern was easy to crochet. I loved that the arm, legs & trunk were crocheted in instead of trying to sew them in place layer. However, the Baby's best choice wool with a 3.5 hook made a sloppy, holey elephant. It turned out much better with a 2.75 hook, albeit a little smaller. I had some Premier Basic DK from another project, & it came out quite well with a 3.5 hook.
