I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

I recently knit this blanket for Knit for Kids. Easy to memorize the pattern segments and very warm!
Very attractive when finished. A little difficult to manage pattern rows, 8 rows one pattern, 12 another and 24 in middle - had to make a chart and then it was fine. Wool to use was DK so a little thicker for a baby but perfect for over a stroller in the winter. Difficult to measure tension at first. A regular square would have been easier.
