I love to crochet, I love hummingbirds

I love to crochet, I love hummingbirds. What could be better. I have not tried mosaic crochet with color changes in the rows. For me this is a new challenge. I do have to say that although I have not completed this project, I have found that there is a mistake in the written pattern in row 25. (I'm not sure if this issue has been addressed yet. I did buy this kit approximately 3 years ago)
In row 25, the written pattern states fldc below in next 39 st, that part should be fldc in next 42 st.
I'm not sure if there are any other errors but in any case, I am thrilled with the afghan kit and enjoying the new technique.

These are my favourite DPNs!

These needles are great for any type of yarn, especially "slippery" ones. I love them for knitting socks and sleeves - the yarn seems to stay put better than on metal needles. They're also warmer in my hands than metal ones - great for arthritic hands!

Well made and smooth

I love the wooden circular needles because they are very comfortable in the hands, lightweight and most of all they're not slippery so the stitches don't slip off the needle by accident. I started using them when working on a lace pattern with lace-weight yarn but I liked them so much I use them for all my knitting projects.

I needed some longer double points for knitting socks and gloves. I have very thick calves and wanted knee highs. These 7" needles are just right, providing room for the extra stitches I need to fit my calves. They're also great for knitting the fingers on gloves. Strong, thin and completely smooth. Love them!
