I made this as a gift the first time and then for my grandson using green as the main color. The cars are a little fidgety to make but the main blanket is very straight forward.

I have made this blanket twice now. I just have to finish the cars and trucks and am going to try to make a school bus with the yellow. The blanket itself is an easy crochet and people love it. The cars are a take a bit of time, but are so cute on the blanket!

I made this afghan for our youngest grandson. It was an easy pattern to follow and turned out great. Our little one loves the bright colored cars and they get many compliments on it. I gave it 5 stars!

Great blanket for a boy! Not very many choices for a boy!!

I was so happy to find two car-themed afghans for my great grandsons. These brothers will both feel special.

About 1/2 way through making afghan. The little cars will be fun to make. The new Mommy goes to car races so a checked flag will be added to the 'track'.

My grandson's 2-year birthday party was held at the hospital because his little brother had just been born. I presented him with this afghan for his birthday and he instantly loved it. It was a great distraction from the fact that there was a new little human who was getting a lot of attention. He calls cars "go-gos," and this is his "go-go blanket." He snuggles with it every night.

I made this afghan and it turned out so cute! The pattern was very easy to follow and I had plenty of yarn. This is the perfect afghan for a little boy. I know I will make this again.

I bought this kit to make a "thank you" gift for a friend. It works up nicely, no problems. Really cute blanket for a little boy!

The yarn is a little heavy, and I didn't care for the 'sewing' stitches on the back, so I devised a way to make the complete car then just sew the completed car on at once. I also did not like the shape of the cars - they all looked like a VW bug, so I adjusted the pattern to make them look more like a sportscar, an SUV, etc. and they came out much better. I also didn't care for the way the pattern 'flowed', with the up and down, so I found a basic patters with more of a 'hilly' flow and not a 'swag' for the main body. When all was said and done, with the adjustments and different patterns I needed to create, the finished product was very nice. I made a 'mustang' in lime green and a brown SUV to resemble the cars of my son and daughter-in-law for the blanket for my grandson. I also made and "E" to put in the corner for his name. I'm not sure if I'd make this again, since I didn't really care for the patterns included.
