I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

This is my second year making these candle wreath beaded ornaments. Visual instructions are easy to follow. The wreath part can be challenging for a beginner but keep working the wires on each side to be equal in length. To tighten the wire in the middle, it's easier to pinch the 2 wire ends together in the middle, hold it tightly and turn the wreath section with your other hand to get the wire tight. By the 2nd one you should have the hang of it. One of my favorite beaded kits!
These candle wreaths are easy to make and look nice. However, the kit had a lot of broken beads, especially the green beads for the wreaths and the white beads for the base of candle and the candle. They should include extra beads to be sure there are enough to make the 12 wreaths. I was only able to make 11 because of the amount of broken beads.
