I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute

I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

What a fantastic kit! It includes everything you need, and while you will have to cut the plastic canvas pieces yourself, the yarn is already precut to lengths that are easy to work with. Instructions are clear and charts easy to read. This is my first completed plastic canvas kit - probably a little ambitious to start, but I think it turned out really well (although not without some minor mistakes). I enjoyed it so much, I bought a bunch of other plastic canvas kits and can't wait to work on these throughout the year. I have ordered from another company, but I really prefer the Mary Maxim kits because of the precut yarn and the very clear instructions. I made this as a Christmas gift for my mom, and while I haven't given it yet, I think it will be well received!

This was for a more experienced crafter, but I loved it. Will be completing the pattern several more times.
The pattern was fairly easy (be really careful when cutting because all the jagged edges are hard to get right) and the birdhouse turned out beautifully! I felt like the instructions to put everything together were vague, but the idea is straightforward and easy to make your own. The yarn was a bit finicky in that some pieces separated super easily. It took a long time and the inside is unsightly, but I’m really glad I did this project. Plastic canvas crafts have become a new hobby and I will be purchasing these kits in the future.
