Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!
I love this yarn! I make baby blankets to donate to local places. The yarn is soft, doesn't split, and has a great colo selection. AND its machine wash and dry!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

Named Vickie that is an unbelievable gem. She not only sent me a 3-page letter but 2 small crocheted samples that I could unravel to see what to do. The other problem was my ignorance. I couldn’t figure out how to change the colors of the squares in the blanket. I was thinking of something like fair isle where I would carry the thread back and forth. I’m a member of Ravelry and someone suggested something called Intarsia crochet and gave me a link to see how it’s done. Voila! I’m now half finished with the blanket and have recently learned Tunisian crochet to my skills but intarsia as well. I’m looking forward to my next Mary Maxim project. Thank you all for your wonderful kits and your help when I’m in a jam.

Thought blanket would be one piece - not main background with smaller items made and added on that might come off if picked at by child?? Quality good, colors great, love the design.
Colors and yarn great. Directions and pattern great for blanket Had some difficulty with the directions for vehicles but very doable and I did a few variation from the directions that made it fit better for me not finished yet.
The directions were simple and the pattern was perfect for a little boy
Some directions are missing or incorrect but if you have any experience with directions you can figure it out.

Crocheting this blanket made me smile thinking of the new great nephew on the way.
This pattern was really cute and I checked my gauge before starting on it, but I knew before I got finished making the base blanket that there was not enough Denim yarn to follow the pattern exactly. I barely had enough after making the vehicles to add a surface slip stitch around the other 3 sides of the blanket to complete the Denim outline, but there was not enough to add any to a border. By the time I finished all the vehicles, I was also running out of red so I changed the color of the cement mixer to grey and that gave me just enough red to use on attaching the other red vehicles. I completed the blanket and used the light blue, tan, white and grey to make a stripped border. It turned out very nice, and if I could attach a photo of my completed project, I would do that. I think you should adjust the amount of red and Denim included with the pattern if it is going to be completed as written. This is the first kit I have ordered from you that did not include enough yarn.
This pattern was very easy to follow and I still love the results that I got.
