I ordered 10 skeins of Starlette and am happy with the softness and smooth feel while crocheting. In the future I intend to try different lines of yarn for other projects than the current blankets and afghans. Ran out of main color and had to order more. Just needed a little more to finish the collar and sew up the sweater.

The yarn is very soft and easy to work with. I love the way the color changes gradually from light to dark blue. I see no splitting. However, I have found 2 knots in the skein of yarn I am currently working with and had to frog back several stitches, cut the knot and reconnect.

Im not an advance crocheter.
I have been crocheting for almost 30 years and this was hands down the most difficult pattern I've ever read. It's all jumbled together, nothing is separated. It's incredibly difficult to read and follow. I had to frog my work 18 times before giving up and being glad I was only out $1. Really disappointed.

I've made this pattern 4 times, and when I give them as gifts jaws drop. Very happy with this pattern. When I've made it I used a variegated yarn for the middle and white for the pineapple edging.
I have not made this pattern yet, however, I have read it and anxious to start on it. I have something to finish up at this and am very excited to start.
