Love this yarn

Really like Mary Maxim yarns. This Copper color worsted yarn is smooth And crochets easily on different size hooks and different patterns! Yarn doesn’t separate or snag.

this yarn is easy to work with the the color is exactly what I was needing for Fall projects!

I purchased this yarn in the green ombre color, planning on making a blanket and pillow cover for a family member. I expected the yarn to be soft based on the description and customer reviews. However, the yarn is extremely scratchy, and irritated the skin of the family member for whom the items were being made. It really is a shame because I like the way the yarn works up, so I decided to use it to make throws for charity,

Overall this is a great value yarn and is very easy to work with. It is a little thin for a 4 weight yarn I felt. It is working well for my project so far.

I absolutely love the yarn! Softness is a plus and the colors are beautiful. It doesn’t separate like some yarns. The quality is very good. Definitely would recommend buying yarn from them

Yarn is soft and crochets well. Made a baby blanket out of it.

I enjoy working with thus yarn, it is really soft, the weight is spot on, and there are very few, if any knots in each skein.
I just made 3 full size blankets and encountered zero problems. :grin:

The skeins are not pull skeins. I can’t find the end. I love the yarn but based on the fact that they are not pull skeins I will not purchase this yarn again. Who wants to wind skeins into balls. I don’t have time for that.

My photos are of the "dark pink" and "medium brown" colors. For the price, this is perfectly fine yarn and lives up to the name -- this stuff is DEFINITELY maximum value, alright! Easy to work with and doesn't split very often. It's your standard acrylic: not super soft when I was crocheting, but I'm sure it'd soften up after a few washes.

I did end up returning most of the skeins though. . . I got excited about new yarn and went straight into winding cakes (you know how it is, lmao) before I noticed that the colors weren't right for my project.

The "dark pink" color is actually quite a bit more saturated (almost orangey-pink) than the store picture shows, and the "medium pink" is more of a bubblegum pink than the dusty pink i was expecting. . . similar issue with the "medium brown" color; it was too light/saturated of a brown for me. Maybe i should've gone with the medium & dark ROSE colors instead of the pinks!

They're not bad colors at all; they just didn't match what I was seeing on my computer screen and what I envisioned for the blanket I was going to make. It could be that my eyes are going bad, or that's just what i get for shopping online, lol.

Return shipping was kind of a hassle because the yarn was delivered in a non-reusable bag, so I had to get my own box to ship them in. But the shipping label is pre-paid, so that was nice! Hope this review helps :)

This yarn helped me create a very nice afghan. It was very easy to work with, had great stitch definition and did not fuzz and pill. Loved working with it.

Loved working with this yarn. I definitely became a fan of crocheting with Mary Maxim Value yarn. As you can see in the picture the texture was fab.

Yarn is easy to use, has no freys and is great for knitting. I used a #10 circular knitting needles and 6 skeins for this afghan.

I didn't expect much because this is an inexpensive acrylic yarn. Figured it'd be like most of the cheap yarn you get from every other company. Most people just get cheap yarn because it's all they can afford, but then it's not enjoyable to create things from. So when I ordered some kits that used this yarn I was shocked it was so soft. It holds a stitch definition and you could use it for anything. Pleasantly surprised and would recommend it highly!! Do yourself a favor, either buy some kits and follow a beautiful design or get your creativity flowing with this wonderful yarn with all of its color choices!

I love this yarn. It is a soft four weight acrylic and works up nice. I love the variety of beautiful colors and the cost is a value. No splitting, no bad spots or knots in the middle. Great for large projects. Washes up nice and holds the shape. 474 yards for a great price.

I was very pleased with this yarn. I used it to crochet a baby blanket and will probably purchase it again!

Love this yarn, knits up beautifully. I am knitting a pullover sweater with cables. It is not a heavy yarn but that is just what I wanted. I will buy again.
