I ordered many skeins of this bulky yarn both from Mary Maxim and Premier. Both have comparable prices although Mary Maxim has a few more colors. Whether this yarn is being discontinued or not, it's a top-notch yarn. A nice thick bulky yarn, thicker than the Puzzle solid yarns, but of the same twist, if that makes sense. I've made 2 blankets with this yarn, no complaints in its quality. It's a dream to use, easy to frog, no twisting or splitting, just a pleasure to work with. Now the ends to fray a bit due to the twist. . . But leaving a long tail, thoural weaving in the ends, a drop of fabric glue helps. Of course I'll be buying more!

I would suggest when similar colors are stitched close together you use a symbol to differentiate the colors. Pattern was a bit tricky to see the different colors I had to use the picture several times. Just a suggestion

Very cute design. I struggled with separating the 4 play yarn to do the backstitching and found it easier to use 6 ply black floss. The yarn kept tearing in the needle.

This kit is soooo much bigger than i thought it would be. It comes with everything you need.
I love the design but the orange is more a rust, not very pretty. I do have two black cats and looked forward to making this. Not progressing on it. May be one I start and never finish. I liked that it was on one sheet of plastic and not a lot of cutting. Guess this one is just not for me.
