Love the pattern. Written very clearly and able to follow easily. The sample letters are big enough to see while completing them.

Easy pattern to follow. Like that design is only on front of stocking. I purchased the pattern only.

I found the instructions pretty easy to read . difficulty was the toe area! .I love what I chose as these will be christmas gifts to my , young adult Grandchildren. I love the brilliant colours and buying this much wool for 7 stockings didnt break my bank account..Thanks Mary Maxim!

I had these patterns before and lost them (or gave them away after everyone grown). Love them and now have new reason to make some more. Glad I could find them again.

I made these stockings years ago and have had request to make them for my great nieces and nephews. I recently made the snowman one for my great nephew. According to his father they hold a lot of stuff!

I am excited to do this stocking for a new baby arriving in June. It will be her first Christmas.

My Mother made these 50 yrs ago for me and my siblings and in laws and grandchildren
The patterns were lost when my Mother died so my Daughter googled you and got the patterns for me
Now I am making stockings for the family members who are new to the family

I have sent a couple of emails explaining there is a descrepency when printing off the reindeer pattern , no matter how one tries to print it off there are 2 blocks missing from the right hand side of the pattern that I had to put in myself manually , this should not be . I did send emails explaining this but never did get a reply fr anyone . needless to say im not a satisfied customer , but a very disappointed customer ...

My sister had a friend who made this stocking for each member of her family. That friend has now passed away and my sister wanted her grandson to have a stocking that matched. I looked up this pattern and it was exactly the same pattern. When making it I was concerned about knitting the heel because I had never done one before. I looked up videos and was thrilled to find that Mary Maxim had one specifically for this pattern (minus the snowman) and I was able to follow it very easily. My sister was so happy that he grandson now has a matching stocking to hang on the fireplace mantle!

I think it is cute but I had trouble managing all the colors, so am searching for help with that.

I made Rudolph..first time using multiple colours, tricky for an almost 85 year old. Pattern needs to be bigger.
I goofed on needles so it was extra big but everyone loved it.
I wish it came in a kit, like it did years ago.
I was lucky my grandson printed it for me..didn’t realize you didn’t send pattern through the mail.

I learned this pattern when I was young but lost the hardcopy that my father had given me so I was happy to find it on your site.

This pattern was great and easy to follow.
It is hard to knit the design as you go. My suggestion is to knit the sock plain and just to add the design, including the name in duplicate stitch at the end. It looks the same

I loved the Christmas Stocking Pattern. I have alway liked Mary Maxim knitting patterns for the way they are written bold font, and excellent instructions.

Knitting these stockings takes me back to my childhood, when my Mum knit them for me, my sister and my brother. Then my daughter and son. Now I can pass this tradition on to my grandniece!

This pattern is beautiful. I have knit quite a few stockings using those patterns. I would order more patterns .
