Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!
I love this yarn! I make baby blankets to donate to local places. The yarn is soft, doesn't split, and has a great colo selection. AND its machine wash and dry!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

This was my first time buying a kit from Mary Maxim and first time using Bag-O-Day tonal hues yarn. I really enjoyed making this blanket and the yarn was wonderful to work with. The yarn is very, very soft and has a light sheen to it. I was very happy with the blanket, it has a nice weight to it. I have already purchased two more kits in Bag-O-Days yarn.
The yarn in this afghan is really so soft and easy to work with. It’s some of the softest I’ve ever worked with.
The yarn is very nice and easy to work with.... BUT..... I'm on my 3rd cake right now and so far each cake has had either 2 or 3 knots that I had to cut off and tie again. I understand that knots sometimes are unavoidable but this seems to be excessive.
I love the texture and color. I wish that there was a closeup picture of all the pattern stripes in the printed instructions, and I was disappointed by the number of knots in the yarn; some of which completely changed the colorway.

It has been fun. I’ve enjoyed working with both the pattern and the yarn. It has been challenging but I knew it would be when I ordered it because it’s a pattern for a person who is well experienced. I’ve never considered myself to be great at crocheting but though it’s been somewhat challenging I’ve enjoyed it and feel more accomplished than I ever thought possible for me. Thanks for the challenge.
