Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

How do we get the pattern I only got the graph
I’m disappointed in the quality of the design and the chart. Working in this right now. I like to write out the stitches vs just looking at the graph, it goes faster for me that way. Well I found a mistake. Row 111 is missing. When you go to the second side the first block only has 9 rows. Evidently it doesn’t hurt the pattern because I don’t see others commenting but still!
And I agree black is a pain to crochet. I go blind.
I’d like the cats to have smoother edges, looks like the designer wanted to show them furry?
I really wish they said this was a graph, not an actual pattern! Not looking forward to trying to figure this out.

I didn’t have the same colors of yarn as the pattern called for. Cutting the yarn so much and adding colors looks horrible. So, I’m going to make the squares, and using stitch markers, going to try to use a yarn needle to add silhouettes.

I think this cat blanket should be classified Expert, I find it very hard to follow and how on earth do you keep track of all those bobbins? The chart is made for 20-year-old eyes because the black pattern is right on top of the dark brown. Who can see that? The same with the thin black lines that indicate 10 rows, that again is right on top of the dark brown as well as the black. I don't think I was supplied the right colours of wool because my light brown looks more like the grey, so they're very hard to keep apart. As a matter of fact I got them mixed up more than once and had to rip it out. Grrrr! Also I wish Mary Maxim would specify which wool would be included because I do not like Bernat yarn. I don't find it the best, some skeins are thicker than others, some are softer than others, and the colours don't match the picture. Plus the pattern called for a 6mm crochet hook but the yarn specified a 5mm hook. Things just don't add up. I'm trying my best 'cause I really want to make this blanket for my granddaughter.

Love it and all cats. got 2 so gave one to daughter who loved the colours. Its on a backburner as at last count I already had 12 projects on the go!.

This is a beautiful pattern. Only just started but looking forward to the finished product. Easy to read pattern.
The mouse legs didn’t show well, had to do a bit of “doctoring”.
This Afghan pattern is unique and easy to follow. The colour of yarn sent is nice, however the quality good be better. The yarn is quite coarse and scratchy, not what I would have chosen when item will be used next to skin.
