Let customers speak for us
Yarn is soft. Easy to use. Colors are beautiful. Too many tied off places in one skein. I was quite disappointed in that part.
The earn in the kit for MJs Timeless Tones appears so soft. I have not started these projects or actually used the yarn but I'm impressed so far.
Made a dress with this color. Very nice to work with.
Interesting pattern
Reasonably priced
Got the corresponding child version also
Child's Wolf Cardigan Knit Kit | Project Hail Mary Fox Sweater
love bod yarn, its very soft and the colors are rich and very pretty.
Bought the Black for a sweater for my daughter. It's very even and nice to work with.
This is some of the nicest yarn for making socks.
No need to baby-sit the finished product as it will launder easily in the machine AND dry successfully in the home dryer. Finding the exact start to match the pattern on both socks can be tricky but as I do afterthought heels, the odd bit you unwind to start a match may find a home there. I use two skeins for hubby’s pair and love using a solid color for heel & toe to create a pleasing design and it allows me to easily replace any heel or toe that springs a leak. I do wish there were more self-patterning choices ..not just self-striping.
Good buy.
Love em both but it’ll take me quite a while sometime to finish them
I haven’t even started to work on it. It’ll take me quite a while sometime to finish it
I bought a scarecrow kit and almost made two with it but had to order more.
So cute. One for me, one to give to my mom.
I like the variety of yarn, and the affordable price,I try to purchase a yarn surprise pack every month.

I used one strand and the blanket came out great. A change in yarn would be recommended for a baby blanket as Caron is a bit rough. I didn't follow the pattern exactly, but I had a great time making the blanket! I made the pieces for the bear but decided not to use it. And I still have enough yarn to make another blanket.
Baby Bear Set
This pattern is pretty easy but does require some basic sewing skills to assemble and place the bear. I, too, received about 3 -4 times the yarn required. I used the double strand method, which some reviewers say they did not. It is very chunky. Not super soft as some complain, but good for a baby floor mat or to put over car seat or stroller. I did not make the hat as the yarn does not seem soft enough for that. I had to use youtube for better instructions on making a heart shape. I am, however, very pleased with the cute result.
Super easy, pattern is very well written. I'm advanced beginner/ intermediate.
I completed this in 10 hoirs approximately. Absolutely adorable!
Great fun to make!!
This worked up so easily! My mama friend loves it.
I liked the pattern and it came out pretty but I only used 1 strand at a time. It was too difficult to complete the stitches with the stiff scratchy yarn that came with kit. Maybe a different yarn would have been better.
The yarn is good quality and it is an easy pattern however I was sent too much yarn and I feel the price was too high but overall happy with the kit
Loved the easy to read pattern, price was ok.
Wish it would be offered in other colors
Pattern was easy to do and worked up quick. Loved the added photos in the pattern.
No where does it tell you, until you get the kit in hand that it does NOT include a pattern for the blanket. Very displeased.
Hi Liz, we apologize for any confusion caused by the missing pattern. A pattern should have been included in your Baby Bear Set kit. Please reach out to our customer service at info@marymaxim.com and provide your order number.
Would like to update my earlier review of this item. Thought item was overpriced but managed to get it on sale and with a coupon I had so it was $55 so I bought it. When I received the kit I was shocked at how much wool came with it. Even doing double strands I was able to get 3 sets from wool. Amazing value and wool was great to work with. Kudos Mary maxim for such a great kit.
Love this
Love the pattern, even if very over-priced. Opted for single strand because of the yarn. The yarn is the reason for only 3 stars. Do not like the stiff, scratchy yarn, especially for a baby/ infant. Better yarn, higher rating!
You can buy this blanket from creator already made for less than the kit.
I gave it three stars because of the yarn quality. Considering that it's for a baby, the yarn is not soft and a better quality yarn could be used. I also didn't like using two strands and opted for a single strand. The pattern is easy to understand.
This was an easy project. I loved the result.
LOVE this baby blanket!!!! I made using single strand and will have 2 blankets. Yarn is so soft and colors are absolutely great.
