Made several Tobys as gifts. I did access a YouTube video to help clarify the directions for the feathers. After the first Toby, the feathers were no problem.
I truely loved doing the turkey and learning new stitches making the tail.
There was no yellow yarn in the kit to complete the beak and feet.

Love it. So many complements. Was fun to do, and I learned a new stitch which wasn’t hard to do.
Very cute and fun to make. Yarn amounts were a little off but made what it was supposed to
BEWARE!!! Plan on spending 3 hours untangling the red, gold and orange yarns for the tail feathers. I have had this problem with other kits from Mary Maxim where they wad up the partial skeins they send you wrapped in a rubber band. Would be ever so nice if they would just roll it into balls to avoid the tangled up messes they become when you remove the rubber bands.
I'm just doing so maney new stitchs with very new crochet kit I order. This one did challenge me with the feathers but had fun learning. And it came out beautiful.
The body of the turkey and all the little add on were fun, but the turkey feathers were very hard to do for me because the yarn made it hard to crochet with. I ended up making my own version of turkey feathers.
