I love to crochet, I love hummingbirds. What could be better. I have not tried mosaic crochet with color changes in the rows. For me this is a new challenge. I do have to say that although I have not completed this project, I have found that there is a mistake in the written pattern in row 25. (I'm not sure if this issue has been addressed yet. I did buy this kit approximately 3 years ago)
In row 25, the written pattern states fldc below in next 39 st, that part should be fldc in next 42 st.
I'm not sure if there are any other errors but in any case, I am thrilled with the afghan kit and enjoying the new technique.

I called and asked for help with the pattern because the pattern was not right, and I didn't get a call back, the person sent me an actual sample of how she did it and I actually had more questions. The pattern help is not what it used to be. I don't think I will be ordering anymore kits
The pattern is atrociously difficult. I have tried every way possible using the directions to get the pumpkin to turn out correctly. It is just an awful pattern. I finally downloaded another pumpkin patter from a different site to make a pumpkin. The hat is floppy and does not stand up well. Overall, a very poor purchase

The pumpkin instructions were a little challenging at first but that turned out great . My disappointment was with the hat for Jack.
I crochet a lot and was able to get through the instructions but the hat itself did not look good on the pumpkin. In fact, I did not used that hat on the pumpkin but designed my own from another pattern and have received rave reviews on the new hat.
Instructions where a little challenging for me but that's what I like in crochet projects. Keeps me wanting to do more fun projects.

However, I think there is an error in the instructions, rnd 4 says to do 2 hdc in every stitch, therefore I will not end with 24 stitches, there are over 36.
Please advise.

I have reviewed the items in the kit and everything looks good. Unfortunately, I have not had time to complete this project as yet but am looking forward to doing so soon.
Loved how this worked up. I charted the pattern to help track the accuracy of my stitches. Found one error in the instructions. Row 3 last stitch should be 2 hdc not just hdc. Since it was on another line I think the "2" was accidentally removed. Once I found the error my stitch count was correct.
