Checking for all the materials included in the kit sounds basic right? But not when you take an excited, deep dive to make them with a time deadline. Needless to say when I started the second one I realized the one and only piece of plastic canvas for the base had only been enough for one bag. The other 2 bags I had to purchase plastic canvas on my own. The yarn for the body,
muzzle and ears is nice quality and ample in amount, but should be balled or caked up and not in a rubber band wound haphazard - they were a nightmare to find ends and rewinding was rough, so they did not become a tangled mess when crocheting! Once all 3 were crocheted I went to attach the ears - another reviewer got it right with her comment that the ears only stand upright when the bag is filled. The last disappointment was the eyes. I recieved eyes minus the washers that make them "safety eyes" when fastened. Mary Maxim did send the washers to me in time. The black "lash" yarn is low quality, thin and splits very easy. It is unforgiving once stitched in place and difficult to change placement of lashes if you want a "do over". My kit had only enough black yarn to do each bags eyelashes once.
Now the positives - they definitely are a cute design concept. Easy to follow instructions and pictures. Price also good as I got the kit for $16. 99 when on sale.

I loved making these little Cottontail bags for my grandchildren. They are absolutely adorable. The pattern was easy to follow and fun to make. The yarns are soft as a bunny. Can’t wait to stuff them for Easter morning

I like that I can order online. BUT I find the shipping doesn't make sense. You can buy a small or large article for $30. and still have to pay almost $20. for shipping when a small article can be put into a brown envelope.
I realized the pattern was labeled mini but I didn’t think they would be this small. However, they were very cute and fairly easy to create. My grandchildren love them.
