This blanket turned out great. It worked up quickly and the pattern was easy to follow. The center of the blanket is crocheted diagonally and looks very nice.
The tonal hues yarn is perfect. I love the feel, so soft and warm. The pattern(weavers window) is so beautiful and I tried to follow a pattern for the first time and it didn't go well. As you can see I couldn't keep the corners right.

I gave this pattern kit 4 stars because even though the yarn is soft and colors beautiful. I was very disappointed that all 10 skeins had 3 to 4 knots . There wasn't on that was knots free. At first I was going to purchase more of the bag of day tonal hues in different colors as I loved the feel of it but I hate knots. Couldn't make a round without a knot. Very dissatisfied

I really love the Bag-O-Day yarn that came with this kit. The instructions could use a summary to explain how many inches long and wide the center c2c section should be. I have pulled it out three times so far and have not yet started the elaborate borders.
