Sarape Ragg acanalado

Love this so much but as a novice knitter if I had to undo a stitch I had a really hard time fixing my mistake. The quality of yarn, feel and look of the finished product are wonderful. Might order and make another one for a family member, it's that nice!

This pattern was listed as easy but I am going to have to try to figure out how to do this pattern by using a light coloured yarn (I had ordered black and grey). The shipping cost was extremely expensive - actually much more than the cost for the yarn for the wrap. There was no indication that it had to be shipped from the US which I presume caused the extra cost. This will be a gift for my daughter-in-law so I will persevere..

Wool is lovely to work with and knits up easy. Pattern is written well.

The yarn is beautiful :heart_eyes: but the pattern is a bit vague. Not a beginner project. I've been knitting for 40+ years, so I'm sure I'll figure it out or at least make a shawl.

Currently still in the process of making the item. I did have difficulty in the beginning when I first started and was confused on what was being said in the pattern. I emailed the company for clarification and never got a response back. I think the pattern could have been written a little clearer but other than that its not a hard pattern to figure out.

This serape was very easy to knit up. The pattern is easy to follow and the yarn is lovely and knits up quickly. My daughter was so excited to receive the serape and wore it all thanksgiving weekend. I am now working on my second serape in denim blue and have ordered the yarn to make 2 more as Christmas gifts. Thank you Mary Maxim!

Easy to knit; my daughter loves it !!

Easy pattern to follow. Check your gauge carefully. I didn’t and had to start over with one size smaller needle.

I love the finished product. I had difficulty getting the tension for the body of the serape. I felt that I would run out of yarn. In the end the body still turned out narrower than stated in the pattern.
I like to throw it on when there is a chill in the room.

I had to rip this out several times, uncertain still if my if it was ever correct. Look on you for help,

I started without doing the swatch at the beginning and had to take it all apart half way. I would suggest you try to find the right size needles as those suggested weren't correct for me. I'm still knitting it, almost finished the second half.

Color selection was great beautiful yarn . Very drappy. Great for cold cabin life.

Still working on it but it looks lovely so far, so anxious to finish it.

Love the quality of the yarn. The pattern was accurate and easy to follow. Project almost complete and will look as it does in picture.

Very attractive stitch pattern. Easy to follow pattern. Finished garment will be stunning and sure to be noticed.

This is a beautiful yarn in a fisherman type stitch. I can't wait to finish it. It's so soft and cozy.

Like the self contained kit, quality of yarn was good,

I am liking this sweeter. It is my first one clothing item I have made! I do need help with understanding the "front bands" I do not now where to start. It says begin at bottom right front. Once I can figure that out I will be good. If anyone could help that would be wonderful.
