This pattern is knit on a 36”circular size 9 (5 mm) needle using size 4 Medium Worsted Weight Yarn. The flowers are crocheted using an F hook or 3.75 mm. We recommend using our Starlette Yarn or our Maximum Value Yarn. This afghan was originally crafted using Caron Simply Soft and Bernat Satin.The free download has expired
Next, we are featuring our Basketweave Shoulder Bag. This was originally crocheted using Sugar-n-Cream Cotton but is no longer available, we recommend using and our Mary Maxim Crochet Cotton or any of our sport weight yarn. This pattern also uses one of our favorite basketweave stitches. We’ve used the basketweave stitch on our dog cowl with a nice tutorial on working (Front Post Double Crochet) FPDC and BPDC (Back Post Double Crochet) in this pattern referred to as (double crochet/raised front) dc/rf and (double crochet/raised back) dc/rb. Up next is our Lacy Garter Cardigan. This cardigan is knit using a size 6 (4.00mm) 24” circular needle and sport weight yarn sized from Small to X-Large. We recommend using a Sport Weight yarn like our Mellowspun or Mary Maxim Fresh to knit this cardigan.The free download has expired
Lastly, download the Child’s Crochet Cardigan. This pattern calls for 1 cone of Mary Maxim’s Crochet Cotton and suggests a (3.50 mm) E-4 hook. This pattern is written for sizes 4, 6/8, and size 10 child sizes.
