I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

Recently purchased 4 skeins of Big Twist Sparkle yarn. My granddaughter’s favorite color is purple,so got 2purple and 2 white. Made her a small throw blanket for college and it turned out very “ sparkly”. Had a little trouble with the thin thread of sparkles, but after using it, I would definitely purchase it again. There were even washing instructions in the info. Machine wash, lay flat to dry. Very helpful. Thanks again, Mary Maxim! Very satisfied,as usual.

Just too busy. Too bad there wasn’t some mint green or aqua in it. I changed the whole pattern. I used just total of three colours in each square. I’m just finishing it up. The wool has a tendency to split so have to do a stitch over again.

I love these kits. I have purchased several of them. The instructions are easy to read. The graph and the colors on the graph are extremely clear so no guessing at what your doing. You usually have a little stack of yarn when your done so plenty of yarn provided if you follow the swatch. Good quality yard and they turn out so beautiful. LOVE these.

Made a very attractive baby afghan. You need to be okay with a lot of color changes and sewing together of all the squares so not for someone who prefers doing an afghan in one piece.
I bought two of these sets to make for my great grandchildren. There wasn’t enough white yarn to complete the afghan so I had to take the skein of white yarn from the second set to complete the first one. I ordered two more skeins of this white yarn and called Mary Maxim to let them know there was a problem with this set being short. They credited the amount of the yarn I ordered but when I finally got it in the mail, they had sent me a three ply baby yarn instead of the four ply yarn I ordered. I had to go out to a local store to buy more white yarn to complete the second afghan. I won’t be ordering any more kits.
it was a lot of fun to make, I was doing the kit when I found out our Granddaughter was going to have a boy so I had to order more blue to make it work love the texture of the yarn, very nice and soft.
I think it should have had easier directions on completing a Granny square, I have had to Google instructions to start square. Maybe I thought it would be easier than it's turning out to be. I have not completed a square yet
