I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

Just the pattern I was looking for

I started making this sweater in the 90's. It got set aside after I'd finished the front and back, one sleeve was started. . . The pattern, in the meantime, was disintegrating on me. I finally decided I should see what I could do to finish this project. I didn't see the pattern when I was searching the site, but when I reached out to customer service, they directed me right to it! Now I can finish the sleeves and sew it up before the century turns again. Bonus: I'm much faster at crochet now. The pattern is easy to read and follow. I like the texture the stitches create.

Misleading directions in pattern

Row 4 in the directions for the Front piece states you are to decrease at 3 points. Right after that row, the directions state to Repeat last 4 rows (which includes the row with the decrease.) However, the instructions fail to advise you NOT to decrease every time you repeat Row 4 in the ongoing repetitions.
I kept decreasing, and it wasn't until I reached the instructions for the neck edge that I realized my rows were now way too short.
I had to rip out everything I had done back to the original few rows.
VERY FRUSTRATING!
