Couverture Delft Bleue

I wanted to do the Delft colors for a Persian Tiles lapghan. This was perfect! It was perfect for both the Delft as well as Persian Tiles.

Love the colors and the pattern! Can't wait to get started!

I enjoyed this pattern with 3 different color patterned hexagons. It turned out beautiful. I gave it to my daughter in honor of our Dutch ancestors.

I have been admiring this afghan kit for a few months and finally decided to purchase it Yarn is beautiful and soft. The instructions are clear enough. am cooking forward to making it.

Gorgeous design from Janie Crow. It’s so nice to be able to have the kit pre assembled and the instructions ready to go. The pattern is easy to follow and the Everyday DK yarn is wonderful to work with. The colors are beautiful and this will make for a great piece!

I haven’t actually started this project yet so I may have to come back and add some comments when that happens. The design is lovely and the colors are beautiful. The instructions seem as easy to understand and contain the same clear color photos as the kit I am currently completing.

There was not enough Navy to complete the afghan. I had even dropped the hook size down from 4.00 mm to 3.75 but there still wasn't enough Navy. Very disappointing and not up to Mary Maxim standards.
I won't chance this again.

Well written instructions. The yarn is not as bright as the picture shows but it is still a beautiful afghan - at least the part that I've managed to crochet so far.

I love Jane Crowfoot's patterns but there is a tension problem. I think that this is probably a problem with the pattern designer whose tension must be much looser than mine. This is the second pattern that I have had to go up a needle size and it still is not quite at size. I can't increase needle size further as the stitches will look really sloppy. I have just reconciled myself to smaller afghans or making the boarder larger.

Very enjoyable pattern. Kit colours were substituted quite well. Ran out of navy and received a new ball very quickly at no cost. This was the first crochet pattern I’ve ever followed and completed. I am a very experienced knitter and left-handed. I’d highly recommend this to new or experienced crafters. Beautiful and satisfying!

I was excited to see another Jane Crowfoot design. The pattern gets 5 stars, it's easy to follow like all her designs. The kit was the problem. Instead of the creme color, linen was substituted. It offered little contrast with the almond. The blues didn't match well either.

I bought two of these kits because I wanted a larger afghan. Unfortunately, the colors are not a good match to the photo. The yarn supplied is a different brand (Premier DK Anti Pill) than the original pattern, which wasn't a big deal. However, the some of the colors are not the clear blues in the photo, especially the Blueberry. The range was not from very dark to pale blue; it was more like very dark to medium blue. The lightest color supplied, which should have been Cream, was actually Linen, and had a muddy look next to the blues. I ended up buying Cream yarn of the same brand from a different vendor, and powder blue (the lightest blue) Premier Basix DK from a third vendor, because I have wanted to make this afghan for quite a while and it had been out of stock. On the plus side, the Premier DK Anti Pill yarn is soft and very nice to work with. The kit comes with a full-color pattern, and is packaged in a nice clear plastic zippered bag. The pattern, while a bit challenging, is pretty clear and easy to understand.

A challenging pattern, but easy to follow. Only 1 ball of navy was included, and when I ran out another ball was sent very quickly.

Easy to follow pattern. However needs 2 balls of navy instead of one but an extra was sent free of charge .
