Discover the charm of knitting this timeless Owl Jacket pattern featuring fun fringe edging. This original design was created in the 1960s and was made with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, which included 140 yards per 2-oz skein. Experience the endless possibilities of creating this unique fringed jacket pattern with the wide range of worsted-weight yarns available today. Have fun with the colors, make it fun and funky! Please note, yardage may differ between brands. We recommend Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted for this project! Materials List All Sizes: MC (10 oz.) Gold, CC1 Med Brown (2 oz), CC2 Owl Head/Lt Brown (2 oz.), CC3 Owl Face Cream (20 yds), CC4 Stick Dk Brown (10 yds), 36" circular knitting needles size 8 (5.0 mm), and a set of double pointed needles 8 (5 mm). Fits children's sizes 2-4-6—Intermediate knit. Patterns for other animal creations Owl Cardigan, Cottontail Cardigan, Raccoon Cardigan, and Raccoon Fringe sweaters sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, increase, decrease, repeat, color changes, cast off, stockinette stitch.
