Paired with Mary Maxim Natural Alpaca Tweed—a luxuriously soft worsted-weight yarn that delivered 262 yards per 3.5 oz skein. This snuggly creation is ideal for layering over your favorite outfits, combining comfort with style in every stitch. Materials List: Mist (4 balls) and 24" (60 cm) circular needle size 8 (5 mm). Finished size 15 x 62" (38 x 1575 cm)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase, decrease, repeat, through the back loop.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
