I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.
These are so easy to make that kids could make them with only a little supervision. Look great and price is good too.

I have been using this pattern since I first found it some 25 years ago. I have donated these blankets to organizations and to individuals going through treatment. It is such an easy patter I have also done it and many other colors for other cancer patients.

This is the first graph pattern that I have done. It was a little bit intimidating when I realized it was a graph pattern but once I got going on it I thought it was easy to follow and so far it is turning out nicely. Just make sure to do the test swatch to get the correct size.
I have made 4 of these afghans over the years for people to sell at cancer fund raisers. It's not a pattern I enjoy making so I decided not to make anymore. The yarn is good and it's pretty when it gets done.
This was my first project like this and I enjoyed it greatly.
Loved making this for my sister several years ago. It ment a lot to her. Her daughter now has it. Very easy pattern. Could be easily adapted to the different colors for the different cancers. Would be a great fundraiser item. :heartpulse:
