I am working on this now and I love it.

I was short about 8 yards so request 8 yards more. They sent it quickly but I ended up with another 2 yards short of the main rust color. Excellent yarn quality

Love all the colors in this tissue box cover. Relatively easy to work up...had to pay attention working up the turkey, but was not difficult.

Really cute when done. Little difficult to cut out turkey pieces but if you take your time it's fine. Colors are perfect for fall and Thanksgiving.

This is so cute. The turkey has dimensions it’s not flat on the front of the box. You work each section on a different piece of plastic canvas. It sounds complicated but it really is easy.

Only complaint I have is the yarn is not very good. It is too stiff and hard to use.

My sister Patsy Mercer did these and I saw how fun they were and I been doing the Halloween one but I stopped and I'm doing the Christmas one cuz it's taking me such a long time but I think they're so cute

I worked on Xmas presents first, so unfortunately I did not get to this for Thanksgiving. But all of Mary Maxims kits are fun so I know I will enjoy doing it after the Holidays.

This is a well received version of the Thanksgiving Turkey by my friends and myself. I enjoy looking at this tissue box on my work table every day. I call him just Tom and I return his smile every time I pull out a Kleenex. Whoever designed this box is to be congratulated! How about a 2 dimensional Santa???

This turkey tissue box cover is really adorable. I had numerous compliments on it at Thanksgiving. It was fun and easy to do.

I have bought over thirty tissue box covers. And with each one that I have bought. they do not have enough yarn, inn each kit. There is enough yarn, of each color, to finish even one box. which is very upsetting, to me.

Fun pattern. Finished product turned out great. Always plenty of yarn in Mary Maxim kits!

Very cute idea.

I combined this kit with a different stitch band yarn color for the box - it was a bit “same” in the original coloring. I liked the turkey but didn’t care for the variegated feathers - and the black feathers blended with the black hat - so I changed that up as well.

This is a fun and cute tissue cover. It worked up looking just like the picture. It was a little tricky putting the three layers of the turkey together. I am very glad I got it!

This turns out adorable. Easy to make, directions are good. Love the squiggley eyes for the turkey.

I made a really cute angel tissue box holder from a kit years ago for my mother in law. I got it back when she passed away, but it's too small for the tissue boxes now.
Does anybody know... are they making tissue boxes a little bigger now?
Is it possible the plastic canvas could have shrunk over time not on a tissue box?
Have the kits been updated?
I haven't wanted to get another one if it's going to be too small.

I was thrilled when my kit arrived until I discovered the turkey was not precut. I found the pattern to be very difficult to cut since the sizing is not the same as the canvas. Also you had to count your own spaces which was difficult.
