I enjoyed making this. I used my own color pattern. The front and backpost stitches were great. The person who received this loved it.
Beware as Pattern colors as written on pattern are not symmetrical. Its a very pretty throw. It took me a few hours to research the repeat rows color symmetry and I found that at rows 101 it should be as follows- don't end at 178 rows go to 183 rows and the repeat is Rows 101-183 repeat rows 3-18 then skip to Row 67 and go in reverse back to row 4 following same color changes, then follow border instructions. Other than that disruption while making this throw I found it to be a very pretty end result, I used the Grey's. The yarn is basic and you will need approx.4800 yards total. Main color-approx 1450 yards 2nd color approx 1450 3rd color approx 950 and 4th color choice approx 950 yards. I have purchased many kits from MM this is the first one with a problem and is reflected with a 3 star rating. Should you choose this kit be aware of the changes that should be made for symmetry of colors on throw. I hope my revisions help everyone and are not too confusing. Best of luck to you. I am a knitter and definitely a beginner at crocheting. After a few false starts l found it easy to do and my Afghan looks great. Nice yarn to work with.
Very nice Afghan. Would have rated it 5 stars but the pattern instructions omitted numerous rows. Had to frog a large section to accomplish the mirror image design as pictured.
A list of stitches used in the project would be helpful (in any project). Also, there were errors in the instructions that resulted in having to rip out and redo 34 rows because the pattern was not symmetrical.

I feel that there were mistakes in the printed instructions. I do not use the diagram instructions. It has been set aside for now
Originally wanted the purple one and was sent the gray one and I believe it would cost justice much to send it back so I was highly pissed to get the gray but I kept it.
This afghan is very easy to crochet. There are two repeating rows so it is nice not to have to count stitches all the time. I love the pattern and the feel of the yarn. I am always happy with my purchases with Mary Maxim.
