I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

The kit is easy to make and looks great. Additional wall hangings can be made if desired. The rings are availale at Amazon and any yarn can be used. I've made three Snowman Wall Hangings for Christmas this year.
The pattern is easy to follow…but I did not have enough red yarn. First off, I don’t understand why they didn’t just give you a skein of red and one of green, instead of two pieces of each color in a rubber band. After undoing the rubber band, it was difficult to find one of the ends, and ended up with a tangled mess to roll into a ball. It’s very cute once it’s done. (Luckily I had bought two kits, so I was able to finish one, until I can get more of the yarn) I have shopped at Mary Maxim for years, so I’m a bit disappointed.

Yarn wasn't packaged very well. Quality of yarn wasn't what I expected. Instructions were not very clear. I did reach out for clarification on one of the instructions. Response to my inquiry was a bit slow. I seldom complain but I was disappointed in this particular kit. However, I will continue to purchase from Mary Maxim. I have purchased yarn before and was satisfied.

The project is coming together nicely and I am pleased with the directions. The circular forms for the project are VERY flimsy (Mason jar rubber seals) but I suppose for this application they are sufficient. It is very cute
