Very pretty. I'm using the tissue box as winter decoration. The only thing I did differently is I purchased sparkly white yarn for the snowflakes. Sometimes winter needs a little sparkle especially between holidays.

Although this is a very cute pattern and will look great when completed, I found that making the snowflakes was quite labour intensive. I ended up used a black sharpie and marked the white plastic canvas. Cut out very carefully. Ended up putting them in my sink and scrubbing the marker off.

Also, the yarn that was supplied with this project is very substandard. Thin and flimsy. Also shreds while stitching with it. Might be easier to use my own yarn….

Very hard to cut plastic canvas. Instructions are easy to understand. I am still working on this project but so far it looks great.

Very well designed. Will fit with any decor and can be used through the winter.

Found the snowflakes to difficult to cut out, just made snowflakes of yarn similar to the ones on let it snow only larger and everyone thought they looked great

It was easy to work up..THE SNOWFLAKES WERE HARD TO DO..SO DESIGNED MY OWN. IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING IT. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE GREAT

Loved this project. Turns out awesome. Yes, the snowflakes are hard to cut out. Takes patience - you cannot do them quickly. For beginners, maybe mark bars to cut with sewing thread?

I have not started this project yet. However I am hoping that this one will have enough yarn to finish the project. The plastic canvas projects my sister and I have done have not had enough yarn to finish the project. We have had to search our excess yarn supply and of course we have not been able to find an exact match. Sometimes it is close enough to m.atch and other times we have to substitute a colour that will blend in fairly well or do a different colour altogether

Mr. Snowman was fun and easy to do, but snowflakes are next to impossible to cut correctly! After trying again and again and even buying more white plastic canvas so I had enough to try yet again, I GIVE UP. I will either hang Mr. Snowman up without snowflakes, or figure out another way to make snowflakes.

This jolly fellow will greet my guests on my door all winter long! I like that it is a winter themed project, but not just for the Christmas season. The instructions are thorough and easy to follow. Always great quality and value from Mary Maxim!

I just finished this snowman kit. Cutting into the plastic canvas first is not the way to go about this. I found it best to do the stitching first, then cut the extra canvas away. No mistakes that way (for me)! I enjoyed making this and it is so cute! HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is the snowflakes that are to be cut from plain white canvas with no stitches. I found that job impossible. Several friends tried with no better results. Needless to say, I will be using my hanging without the flakes. My friends and I think it looks better that way—not so busy.

I bought this for my sister. She is going to love it as it goes with her winter decor.

The projects themselves are fine. The way it’s marketed is not. It’s called an ensemble, meaning more than one, yet it includes only one or the other projects, not both. Therefore, it is very misleading to call it an ensemble.

I like the separate pieces to add on . Gives it some demintion. I started on it, so far all good.
