Cardigan Raglan Ragg

Pattern was really bad. The pockets came out backwards. I did send in a complaint but heard nothing back. I am trying to redo the pattern and make it right for myself, but it's taking me a while. Very disappointed.

I did have a problem with the pocket, as on one side the pattern was incorrect but has since been amended. I also found that the collar did not sit nicely so I actually slip stitched it in place.
It knitted up very easily and very warm and cozy,

This pattern is easy to follow and I like the yarn that is included with this kit. I just started knitting this and it's going pretty quickly so far.

Pattern for both fronts could have been written differently for easier following.

This is the first time I have used a Mary Maxim pattern. Very disappointed. I am an advanced knitter and find this pattern one of the worst explanatory patterns I've used.

The yarn is soft and easy to work with, and the instructions are logical and accurate. This is already one of my favorite sweaters! A reminder: buttons are not included.

I received the kit for the cardigan. It was short 1 ball of yarn. One phone call to Mary Maxim to explain the situation & a ball of yarn was being sent. No questions or explanation. Wonderful people to deal with!

Loved knitting this cardigan!

I loved making the left side of this pattern for the pocket was so easy to do. I love the yarn!
HOWEVER, I have contacted the company 2x regarding the right side pocket. Since reading reviews I understand that the same problem has confronted other knitters. I understand there is a typo in the right pocket directions. I thought it was just ME having a problem. If anyone can help me please do. I would love to get this sweater finished for my daughter's birthday in May.
I have never had a problem with Mary Maxim patterns and have knitted numerous Christmas stockings, pattern sweaters, and the crocheted Santa afghan. The product will be good when completed but the directions have an error.

After I made the sweater for my niece and she showed it off to her cousins, not to be outdone 3 more nieces immediately put in their order for me to knit each of them a sweater so I have 3 more started.

I was admiring this kit for a while and finally purchased it to make for my daughter. Looking forward to it! Price was great, and love the yarn, so soft and cozy.

I loved this sweater so much that I figured I would buy it and learn how to make it as I go. Of course I haven’t finished it yet, but I can say that I have read over the entire pattern and it seems simple enough. I am excited to see it finished. The yarn is nice and doesn’t split when I’m knitting. The yarn is soft and I love the blue and white yarn that I chose. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because the mixed colour yarns and the yarn used for the edges I feel are off. The collar, bottom, and cuffs use a cream colour whereas the mixed colour yarn is whichever colour you choose and white. I belong to a knitting social club and all the ladies there don’t think that it matters, but it drives me nuts. I am really hoping that once it is finished, it will blend well. It’s a Mary Maxim pattern, so I’m sure it will as everything I have purchased there has been good quality. Thanks for creating a beautiful pattern that I absolutely love!

The pockets in this cardigan are a nice feature. The Raglan rag yarn is unique.

There are way to many errors in this pattern. If I didn't know what I was doing I would have been very upset

I cannot give a review because I have not started the project yet. I do like the yarn and the color.

This pattern had some mistakes and needed adjusting to make it work.

I’m short one ball of the main colour to finish sweater and can’t seem to find it. Black and white Ragg.
I ordered on line so it was what was sent. Lots of solid black and beige but not main colour.

Really pretty tho a challenge to make

Yarn is easy to work with.

I love working with this yarn. It is very soft. I love the pockets on this pattern, however, there were a couple of typo errors that work better when corrected and there was a missing item from the right front that I added as is in the left front for symmetry.
