Horrible Best Value Yarn

I am not even half way through and this yarn never stops splitting. Doing 3 even 2 crochet stitches it constantly splits. It is soft in the label but coming out in the pattern it is rough. The Prism yarn is just as bad with its thick and thin strands. What a waste of money

Pattern works up quickly! The Best Value Yarn is wonderful to work with and finishes nicely. The Prism yarn (while not my favorite) displays the “prism” of colors beautifully in this pattern. However, it tends to split often while working with it. Frogging can be a nightmare with this yarn as the fibers will tend to knot. I recommend being patient with the Prism Yarn, and work slowly. Perhaps even using a smooth ended hook such as “Boye” brand crochet hooks. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and love the spectrum of colors.
