Cette couverture d'un coin à l'autre est idéale pour les froides journées d'hiver.
Y a-t-il quelque chose de plus confortable qu'un plaid Buffalo chaud et classique pour se blottir ? Les carrés Noir, Rouge et Rouge Cardinal plus foncé rappellent des souvenirs d'enfance et de réchauffage sous une couverture réconfortante après avoir patiné ou joué dans la neige. Ces couleurs sont naturelles pour tous ceux qui aiment décorer avec un look champêtre ou chalet. Lorsque le temps change, le simple fait de sortir une couverture comme celle-ci peut changer votre décor en lui donnant l'apparence d'une cabane dans les bois du nord.
Bien sûr, il ne s’agit pas simplement d’un simple motif à carreaux. Un cerf majestueux, en silhouette naturelle, distingue considérablement cette couverture.
La couverture est travaillée selon la méthode populaire coin à coin. En travaillant à partir d'un graphique, la première rangée dans un coin inférieur se compose d'un bloc (un arceau et 3 mailles serrées).
Au fur et à mesure que vous travaillez la deuxième rangée, avec deux blocs, la couverture devient à la fois plus longue et plus large. Des blocs supplémentaires sont ajoutés au fur et à mesure que d'autres lignes sont travaillées, en travaillant à partir du graphique couleur inclus pour le placement des couleurs. Les instructions claires expliquent le changement de couleur et l'utilisation des bobines, de sorte qu'aucun changement de couleur n'apparaisse sur le devant de la couverture.

Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

Beautiful stag afghan! I made this for my son and his finance!!! It turned out Beautiful! I had never done corner to corner before! Worth the effort!!!
I love the way this turned out! I had to make myself a pattern, as I struggle to read the smaller graph/grid design while working. But I'm so happy - the finished blanket has a nice weight and the colors look fantastic. Being C2C, it came together quite quickly as well.
Making the pattern myself from the grid adds time, I do like when kits include both. But I am happy with the final result!

This is the fist kit I have gotten that I have been disappointed in. It came with Starlette yarn, but black was substituted with Bernat Super Value yarn. The yarn black is much thinner than the Starlette yarn. It only comes a graph and not with the written out pattern. The graph is hard to follow when you start the stag. I keep losing my place. This is Christmas present for my husband. I still plan on finishing it.

Bright colours and easy to follow directions
The Pattern grid was a bit small and the colours on the picture were not accurate, BUT!!!!! What a wonderful afghan. Hence the 5 star rating. Everyone who sees it LOVES it. After figuring out the Instructions, it was fairly easy to do. I'm now a fan of corner to corner crochet. I also want to mention the amazing customer support that I received from Mary Maxim!!!

While this is a pretty project, there is a problem with the instructions. It states: “Even numbered rows will be worked from right side edge down to bottom edge”. This is either incorrect or confusing. It makes no sense. It goes on to say, “Odd numbered rows will be worked from bottom edge up to right side edge”. This too is incorrect or confusing! The other problem is of course the chart. The chart is not numbered.
The picture of this project is not at all like the actual pattern. Colours and pattern are different.

I have made 3 of these blankets so far. I have learned that if I leave the afghan on a table and move my chair from side to side, it is way easier to keep the bobbins organized. I love this pattern! Yes, it is challenging, but so worth the end product!
