Is a good pattern but be sure to follow the instructions of to the next place marker for row 9 and 11. Photo of the throw is upside down!

This is a lovely afghan pattern to work on and the yarn is lovely and soft too. The pattern works up fast and I might even knit it up again in the other colors that are offered. The chocolate mint is a lovely color by the way. This blanket will also make a great gift for someone too since it goes so quickly. Love it!

Oh and as a side note this kit came very nicely packaged in a zippered bag along with the instructions. Nicely done Mary Maxim! Thank you! I appreciated that.

This is the 1st time making it. After the border on row 1 where you have 6 in the border. 12 on the eyelet row, then 2 of the pine tree row for 58, then another eyelet row 12 , then the border of 6. This is leaving me a extra 12 stitches in the row

The color (chocolate mint) is beautiful. The pattern is easy to follow. At first the yarn seemed to split but once I got my knitting mojo working that stopped.

Great pattern and worked up quickly. Plan to make another. I found the pattern a bit confusing at first but found the reviewer by other knitters most helpful. My advise, pay close attention to the brackets for correct pattern section repeats. Once that was clear, the throw was a breeze to knit.

I also had a bit of trouble with the written instructions to start but once I figured it out, it has been a pleasure to work. It makes up quickly, for sure!

Love these kits, but wish the patterns were charred too. Mine is the mint chocolate. More Orange than expected, but nice. Ordered an extra ball of yarn to make a larger throw, but not sure that was necessary. Could not match up the color repeat when attaching a new ball of yarn, but not as noticeable as I thought. Great yarn!

Had some problems with the pattern at first, but customer service was very helpful. It's not very big and I am buying an extra skein to make it longer.

This is the perfect little throw for the rocking chair by our fireplace! The yarn is so soft and the chunky texture makes it work up quickly. The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow, but the pattern makes it look more intricate. I’m planning to make a couple more for holiday gifts!

On the second repeat of the pattern after increasing pattern for larger adult blanket, yarn is very soft and is working up very nicely

I made this afghan and added another skein to make it longer for my sister for Christmas. This yarn is fabulous and tremendously soft. It was a perfect gift!

I really like all the kits I have purchased. I would try different ones, but wish I could see the pattern first so I would know it would be something I could do.

Wool is beautiful but pattern was too complicated- switched to another pattern

The design worked out beautifully! The yarn is so pretty and soft. It was an easy pattern to follow. I have and will continue to buy my yarn and the kits from Mary maxim. I just wish I had discovered her site sooner. The prices are reasonable and I love getting the directions included with the kit. All placed in a zippered plastic container.

This was a fun project. Large yarn worked up fast.

Called for help in the beginning & very helpful.. Well written instructions. Turned out way better than I thought . Bought 2 more kits in different colours.

Love this pattern. It is fun to knit and the yarn is so soft. I ordered twice the amount of yarn and added two repeats of the pattern to make it a bit wider and longer. This will make a special Christmas gift!
