I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!
I’m pretty new to using cotton yarn, and Premier Cotton has been really easy to learn with. I’ve used it for sun hats and am now trying dishcloths and other patterns. It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!

Not as easy as it looked to be. Very pretty but can be a little challenging
I purchased the Maggie’s Lace Afghan over a year ago and am now just getting to this project. I am having trouble following the written instructions and was wondering if you have a diagram of the pattern?
I love the yarn though. I did not like the colors that came together so I bought another color that I think blends together better.
The colors were adjusted to a darker color than I wanted. The pattern was easy to follow. Had to use a bigger hook for the main color due to difference in yarns. I've wanted this pattern for a long time. Really loved the Mary Maxim Maximum Value yarn! I will buy more of that. So glad I bought it and completed the afghan already.

this is my current project and I'm loving it. A bit slow going as I work full time and only work it at night.
While I like the weight and texture of the yarn and it is easy to work with it doesn't pull well from the center and I ended up having to roll it into balls. The instructions are difficult to follow and I've had to change them to get the pattern to work

I got the orange and brown colors. Not my usual but works up to lovely color palette
Beautiful when done. Pattern was a little difficult to understand. After frogging it several times it came together. Have made 2 kits and bought yarn for a third one now. Wish I would have gotten the white or cream Mary maxim yarn though. Was sent the cream Lion Brand yarn with the kit. I could have waited until you had the Mary Maxim yarn back in stock. Need to use the same yarn, as you can feel the difference in texture.
I love the colors but have not yet had a chance to begin it as I am working on several blankets using the Starlette yarn and using the pattern called Live, Love and Enjoy. These are for friends and relatives. Maggie’s Lace is for myself and am anxious to begin it. I do have to say the reason for being behind is that I am fused from top to bottom and am a bit slow in getting my projects started.
My order was shipped fast. The pattern is easy to follow and the colors are gorgeous.

I bought what was supposed to be the Teal colors. The white and dark teal are fine but the 3rd color which I assumed would be a lighter teal is like a baby blue. It does not match the dark teal at all. Completely dissatisfied!
I’m disappointed with the pattern and the colors that came with it. The brown is more of a grey not as shown. Pattern is little confusing I’m glad I’ve crocheted for years so I’m able to figure it out only had to tear a couple of rows out
I was sent the incorrect yarn in incorrect colors. They weren't even close. The very nice csri spoke to on the phone looked at the order, understood what happened, explained it to me, facilitated the return, and told me to try again in about a month, when the correct yarn should be in. I've started another project now but I'm planning on purchasing this in the future when the yarn situation is sorted out. Great customer service, a bad decision made at the warehouse.
Ordered the blues. Love the colors. However, the white was substituted with Lion brand, which, in itself is a nice yarn. However, it does not play well with the Mary Maxim blues. I'll make 2 of these, using yarn from my stash to more closely match each of the 2 brands of yarn. I like the pattern, but it is a bit awkward at times. Once you figure it out, it is pretty easy. Just make sure to use a single brand of yarn.
Pretty! The instructions are a little rough in certain areas but it is a fun pattern with beautiful results. I loved it so much I order a other one in a different color.
I love learning new patterns
I bought (and paid $69 and change) for the browns. To me it looked like I would receive 3 colors of yarn; medium to dark brown, chocolate mousse, and white. What I received is medium brown, lite brown and antique white. The two browns say " made in China" and the antique white is lion brand. The colors don't look like the picture. I won't be ordering from this company again.
