I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

Love, love love it. Very unusual pattern. Took me 12 days. I made it for a cancer patient because of the symbolism of the 8 petal flower (lotus) and the dragonflies. The yarn is very soft. But, the yarn only pulls neatly out of the skeins about 50% of the time. I also didn't need the second skein of light taupe at all. Mary Maxim could reduce the price a little and leave that skein out. The pattern instructions call for a size I crochet hook, but the yarn says to use a 7mm crochet hook. I used the smaller hook and it worked out fine. I added one single crochet row around the entire border to even out the block seams.
