Jeté à panneaux à chevrons

I have made this one before and it is stunning, am doing another one for a good friend

Should have color changes or written in the pattern to change the color every 3 rows or so.
I ordered this a few years ago and just now getting to it. The pattern takes a little time to fully grasp how it should be done.
I'm a seasoned crocheter and this took some time to fiddle with the yarn to understand how to do it. Once I figured it out it flows fairly easy, except for cutting out the really thick
and thin sections of yarn to stay consistent. The color changes are much longer in the Lakeside, I'm working with. Plus once done I would not machine was this. It would felt in a heartbeat. I love prism yarn and roving but I think when I'm done I'll be disappointed enough that I would not do this with Prism again. As I said before, I love Prism yarn but this patter or the look once done, with this yarn will be disappointing, in my opinion. The color changes, if done as the pictur looks would have a ton of knots and color changes.

I do love this pattern and the yarn feel wonderful. It crochets up beautifully. My only issue is the yarn I received does not have near the white that is shown in the picture. The areas of color are wider then it shows in the picture so my end afghan will be darker. I did purchase another kit that is lighter and love the colors however the stripes again are much wider then indicated. I separately purchased one last color that is much lighter in the blues and grays and that one is working up beautifully. I do look forward to finishing the 3 afghans. One is to be a gift.

The pattern looks beautiful when it’s made up. I love that the pattern crochets the pieces together instead of sewing them. The main colour yarn is some of the worst quality yarn I’ve seen. It’s dry clean only and that’s because it’s so weak. I can hold onto the yarn and break it apart by pulling it. There were time were it was breaking while I was working with it. I bought a second kit with this yarn and now I just want to throw it away. This blanket I made won’t be durable at all. The yarn gauge is not consistent either so sometimes it’s as thick as a chunky yarn and other times thin as a double knit. I’m very disappointed with the yarn quality. Do not buy this.

I chose my own colours and this made the project so personal. I think the only thing missing is offering the choice of crochet hook or needles with any kit. Thank very much for quick and efficient service, I am much impressed

This was a great project and turned out beautiful.

The pattern was ok to follow. The Afghan was Beautiful but the colored yarn a little hard to work with (fuzzy).

I’m so disappointed. It showed machine washable in the catalogue and when l went to use it inside the tag on the outside of yarn said hand wash. I was so sad. I would not want to give this as a gift if you had to hand wash this item. :butterfly:

I am experienced and loved wool and raised chevron pattern. Could have been a better pattern for joining panels. Did my own and looked ok

Yarn is very soft. I did have some trouble finding an end to start crocheting on my first skein of yarn. I found I needed to roll each skein into a ball before using it or it tangled.

Loved the pattern, it worked up easily. I'm not usually a fan of Chevron afghans but this one really caught my eye.

Beautiful colours. However the white which I wanted is not white, it is more of a beige to cream colour.

I love the pattern and the colours are great. The Prism yarn is a bit thinner and quite fuzzy when handled making it quite delicate. It will look pretty when done but will just take me longer to complete.

It is a lovely afghan. It is working up quickly. the colors aew beautiful together.

I love this Throw . I wasn't sure if I could do this pattern as it says intermediate, but I practiced the pattern and was pleased to find that it was very easy to do. I'm not a beginner crocheter but I wouldn't say I am a intermediate ,I'm somewhere between the two.

I was very happy with my finished afghan. It's so soft and warm. I thought of giving it for a present but I think I'll keep it. I've already ordered 2 more kits of different patterns. Can't wait to get them.

Beautiful colours and fairly easy to work with but the yarn is inconsistent in thickness. It's not something that can't be worked with just something to keep in mind. The pattern is basically a two row repetition that once understood is easy even for a beginner getting back into crochet.

This is a beautiful throw. The colors work well together & the pattern is easy to follow. The only downside for me is I wish it had a video

I am not happy with the quality of the yarn. In some places it is almost too thin to use in the afghan and in other places it is way to thick, leaving a lump after it is crocheted in. The yarn didn't work up quite like the pattern showed, but the directions were very good. The yarn was a pretty color. The package it was shipped in was good
