Stitch count doesn't add up

The MK should only be 4 stitches as the knot using 5 is too big. Size 36 back is supposed to be 119 stitches but the pattern instructs to [K1,P1] 5 times, work cable pattern over 46 stitches twice, the [P1,K1] 5 times. This adds up to 112 stitches.

It's been a while since I made this sweater but I was looking at it today and I thought
I'd mention - I had trouble figuring out the bobbles, they didn't turn out right,
so be warned! You have to know how to knit bobbles to make this cardigan!

Instructions are weak.

I really like this sweater but I couldn't finish it because the instructions for the 2 front panels were not clear. Everything is fine until you get to the armhole and the neckline decreases.....the numbers just don't add up. I ended up just throwing it away in frustration.

This sweater was fun to knit. I like it, the finished product, but... I can see how it could be more understated and classic looking, you know. But I like it! It's neat! And it is a warm layer.
