I really like the Caron Simply Soft yarns, but I do find them a bit splitty. I'm made blankets and wearables with this yarn and the items were excellent.
I made a hanging Christmas tree with this yarn. I plan on getting more and making a shell top to wear. There is just enough sparkle to it.

Love Caron Soft yarn! Likewise the sparkly shawl pattern & kit I just received Pattern was designed for the intermediate level and will be a beautiful wrap when completed! Please note as pointed out by another review, order 2 more skeins of the sparkle yarn to complete this project for the size described.

Caron yarn is one of my top favorite yarns and has been for many years. First time purchasing Soft Party, however. It is as soft as I've come to expect from Caron, the color gives a light feel - soft - and the sparkles are the icing! I haven't started my project yet, but I expect this beautiful yarn to work up just like any other Caron yarn. It's beautiful and I will purchase it again.
