Description
With this pattern, you can create this oh-so-soft and cozy pair of fingerless gloves! Perfect for added warmth, but leaves the digits free for texts. Designed for the Mary Maxim Knit Club in 2013, using Naturally Caron Country worsted weight yarn, which provided 185 yds/3 oz skein. Discover an amazing array of worsted yarns in all your favorite brands! Keep in mind, yardages will vary. We recommend Mary Maxim Starlette with 180 Yds/3.5 Oz skein! Materials List: 2 balls, knitting needles size 6 (4.25 mm) and 7 (4.50 mm). Gloves measure 4" across the palm and 14" long (10 x 35.5 cm)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: knit, purl, stocking stitch, increase, decrease, place marker, repeat, cast on, cast off, cable front, cable back, K1F/B.

Nice weight for layering
I absolutely loved making this Afghan. It was a wedding gift. The instructions were clear and there were very few missed steps on my part. It actually went pretty quickly.. The finished product was beautiful and looked just like the picture. The yarn was a joy to work with. The cream with flex was a beautiful color. I highly recommend this kit.

It turned out beautifully
The pattern itself has been a really interesting challenge, as my first colorwork piece. It's just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. The kit is great, it had just enough yarn for everything, and some leftover for my first few mistakes! It didn't come with any closure (buttons/zipper), but I'm actually glad for that, as I'm quite picky with that sort of thing and am happy to find my own.
Overall, I'm very glad to have purchased and knitted the whole thing! Definitely recommend, and I was thrilled to be able to support a MI brand.
