I love it! Fun to make. I completed it in 19 days.

I finally got started on this and finished my squares. I began cross stitching but found out that I am missing the black yarn. This is the first time doing Tunisian and had to figure out how to bury the stitches.

I have a 5-year-old grandson who is going to love this blanket. His favorite things are cars and help vehicles. This is perfect for his big Christmas present for this year. I was so excited when I saw this and could not resist buying it.

Cross-stitch was a new skill for me and I enjoyed learning it. Pattern and graphs were easy to follow. Nice, consistent yarn.

Clear instructions on this kit. Yarn feels so good and the colors are outstanding together.

Fairly simple to do. The blocks are pick-up-and-go size with only a few colors foe embroidery. Instructions are fairly clear -doesn't distinguish between highlighting embroidery and main embroidery.
Overall, pleased.

That Wheels Blanket is adorable. I made 2 of them and get compliments galore! Love how the wheels for the vehicles are sewed on afterwards. I would highly recommend this Wheels Blanket. Fun to make and it turrned out beautiful.

I wish the kit used a yarn besides Red Heart Super Saver. Super Saver is such a coarse, scratchy yarn. The only other negative is splitting the 4 ply yarn to 2 ply for the embroidery…. That is a pain! Could have just added a 2 ply in the colors required.
I’m still embroidering so I don’t know how well it goes together. Overall, I would buy the kit again. I think it’s going to be very cute.

Unfortunately, the yarn is Red Heart Super Saver, which is scratchy both before and after washing. The pattern is cute and instructions clear, but doing embroidery over crochet is harder than it looks, and as another reviewer said, the back of the blanket is impossible to keep looking good. If I were to finish this, I would sew a piece of flannel on the blanket to camouflage the back. I've abandoned the project and now have skeins upon skeins of scratchy acrylic yarn to find another use for. Lesson learned: don't buy kits without knowing more about the yarn and the pattern.

Did not like how it was cross stitched. Looked horrible. Changed it up and knit the pattern in. Came out so much nicer.

Clear, concise instrucyions; easily portable project; colour appealing to a toddler . Good quality for the price.

I bought this as a gift to make for my newborn grandson. The yarn is very cheap looking and not soft at all. The project did not mention all the embroidery required and after you do the embroidery the backside of the blanket looks like a jumbled mess, not something I would give proudly to anyone. This project will not get made. Terrible!

I wish it had been clear this was cross stitch over afghan stitch (which I never heard of) I fudged it with all crochet- which didn’t work great- I still had to do some cross stitch over but I am not happy with the result. Not worth the cost for this kit- don’t think I will order kits again .

i also did not realize it was cross stitch over afghan stitch blocks. I'm a little worried how the cross stitch will hold up with little kids--lots of possible points for snagging. Instructions should tell you to chain 33 so you will have 32 squares to embroider over as the graphs show. i may try using the graphs for a tapestry or intarsia stitched blanket. I'll read descriptions more closely and not be distracted by the cuteness!

Blanket is adorable but the yarn should have been a baby yarn not this still cheap yarn. Starlette by Mary maxim would have been so much better

This is a baby blanket, but the yarn is not baby yarn they used red heart super saver which I don't use as it isn't a soft yarn. For the price they should have used a baby yarn or softer brand

It’s a shame the kit does not use better quality yarn or sell the pattern separately so I can choose better yarn. There is not enough ways to soften this yarn to an acceptable use.

Learned the afghan stitch! Wish my cross stitching was better.

I can’t wait to make this for my grandson. He’s going to love it. Finally his very own special blanket.

very cheap yarn

I was surprised that this is a Tunisian crochet project. I didn’t see that in the write up.
The surprised to see the patterns were cross-stitched over solid blocks.
This is not at all what I expected.
The yarn is basic acrylic; nothing special.
I was expecting a traditional crocheted project with the pattern made by changing colors.
This was not advertised adequately.
I’m disappointed and frustrated to say the least.

I got this kit a couple of days ago and agree with the review that said it should have been specified that you need to know the Basic Afghan or Tunisian stitch but the pattern also should have specified that you have to do embroidery and cross stitch all the vehicles in each square. I feel the instructions could have been a LOT more detailed with a lot more illustrations for what it cost. The 2 pages of instructions and then 2 pages for each graph is a lot less that I usually get for a paid pattern. I have done a lot of intermediate patterns, but I felt these intructions are really minimal.
