Finished product came out beautiful. The little hearts that were made on the right-side of the project are very cute. Ordered the project and before I could turn around it had already been delivered. I did find that I needed a slightly larger hook to meet the gauge needed for the pattern. Pattern was easy to follow and I had enough yarn to create a wonderful baby blanket

This pattern was fun to work. It is nice to have a different pattern on each side. The pattern was a little confusing at first but it will make sense if you stick with it. Results are very cute.

A slow work in progress

Love the colors and pattern although it’s a slow process for me with what I consider to be a smaller hook (size D). I found the yarn a little hard to work with as as it splits easily. If I made it again, I’d use a larger hook and different yarn

Baby Heart Blanket

I looked forward to making this beautiful blanket but found the instructions on row 5 impossible to follow. After calling Mary Maxim and asking if there was a tutorial for this pattern, I was advised there was not but someone would call and try to help. 3-4 weeks later I did receive a call that was not helpful, unfortunately. I did not need the pattern read to me and I understand all of the abbreviations and how to make them, but the sequence of the instructions did not seem to 'add up' in this row. The representative tried her best but having not ever made the blanket, she was unable to assist any further.

On several Mary Maxim kits there are inserts with a close up of a complicated stich area. Unfortunately, this is not the case with this pattern. I do not want to give up and hope that Mary Maxim can offer assistance with their pattern.
