Easy to work with but does split some. Makes a colorful potholder.
I have several different colors and other brands of cotton and as far as the stiffer cotton they compare the same and a little cheaper. I absolutely love yarn especially cotton for my bags that I make especially because of the feel and quality of the product. Also look at the cones of this cotton they are awesome as well and like before great price.
I made my first dishcloth with this and I fell in love! I just love the feel and look!
Bought 3 skeins each of 4 colors. I made dishcloth to add to mini bread loaves for Christmas. The yarn was gorgeous. No splitting. Each color was done in a different pattern (for my fun). One skein, one cloth, really fun.

I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!
I’m pretty new to using cotton yarn, and Premier Cotton has been really easy to learn with. I’ve used it for sun hats and am now trying dishcloths and other patterns. It has nice stitch definition, holds its shape well, and is still soft and easy to work with. I’ve even had to pull out and redo a few sections, and the yarn has held up great. Definitely a cotton yarn I’ll keep using!
This will be a Wonderful Yarn to work with, cannot wait to get started on a large blanket really soon!

Hard to work with as it splits easily. NOT 100% cotton so best not to use for hot pads. Too soft for baskets as sides all weepy. OK for dish cloths or such. Not soft enough for wearable garments.

Wow! This yarn is amazing. When you need an all cotton yarn for your project, choose Premier Home Cotton! But if you are working on a beautiful, lacy shawl, I would choose a softer cotton. I am currently making a huge quantity of market bags and this yarn is perfect!
