I am so excited to start this baby blanket!

I bought this for the unique design and knew it might be a challenge.

As in with others in previous reviews, round 14 tripped me up and took a couple of days to figure out.

When I looked at the blanket, I had an epiphany; this is essentially a granny square with 10DC clusters (instead pf the typical 3DC group) with a ‘ch4,sc,ch4,sc,ch4,sc’ for the sides, with ‘ch6,sc,ch6,sc’ for the spaces to put the future 10DC clusters. You have to repeat this particular sequence, adding 1 sequence for each increase. I hope this helps a bit.

The final product is beautiful and I already have ideas for different colors for my next blanket. This is a challenge, but worth the effort with a bit of patience.

I’m having the same issues the previous review stated. There are errors in the pattern and confusing instructions. I have interpreted them the best I could. Adding to the problem is the fact that the pattern was tattered and crumpled when I received it by coming through the mail that I really wish I could have downloaded my pattern instead.

It is a pretty blanket though so I gave it a three.

The directions for this blanket were messed up. It took me 2 weeks to figure it out. I called for help and explained my problems and I was told a lady would call me the next day. Nobody called and 4 days later I called again and there was a message that no help was available because of covid-19. Rows 10 and 14 had on it to chain 4's and the very next row said to instructed me to sc in chain 3 space while there was no chain 3 spaces in the previous row. Row 14 was so hard to figure out the way it was written for the parts between the corners. Once I figured it out everything went fine and the blanket turned out beautiful. It would have been helpful if there had been a pic of it laying flat. Since there are no other reviews I wonder if anybody else had the same problems or was I the first to buy this blanket kit. This is the only reason I gave it only 3 stars. I have crocheted many doilies that were intermediate level and the pic has helped me tremendously.
