Create this cozy blanket using the downloadable pattern. Use Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK/Sport Weight yarn to crochet this blanket. The original yarn used for this pattern was 10 balls of Ultra DK Sport weight at 160 yards per ball. We recommend Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK for perfect results! Also, it requires crochet hook size U.S. H-8 (5 mm). Finished size 37 x 46" (94 x 117 cm)—Intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, increase, decrease, repeat, picot, cluster.

Ran out of main color and had to order more. Just needed a little more to finish the collar and sew up the sweater.

The yarn is very soft and easy to work with. I love the way the color changes gradually from light to dark blue. I see no splitting. However, I have found 2 knots in the skein of yarn I am currently working with and had to frog back several stitches, cut the knot and reconnect.

Im not an advance crocheter.
I have been crocheting for almost 30 years and this was hands down the most difficult pattern I've ever read. It's all jumbled together, nothing is separated. It's incredibly difficult to read and follow. I had to frog my work 18 times before giving up and being glad I was only out $1. Really disappointed.

I've made this pattern 4 times, and when I give them as gifts jaws drop. Very happy with this pattern. When I've made it I used a variegated yarn for the middle and white for the pineapple edging.
I have not made this pattern yet, however, I have read it and anxious to start on it. I have something to finish up at this and am very excited to start.
