This is the second Lion Brand yarn I've bought, the other being Ferris Wheel. Both yarns are thinner than listed and I'm wondering if that's a Lion Brand thing. Basic Stitch is listed as a #4, but I found it a thin #4, more a #3. The colors are consistent, the same as advertised, nice earthy tones. The feel is extremely soft. The stitch definition is there, but I kept having problems with splitting, which slowed down my work. Towards the end of one skein, the yarn twisted around my pull, causing a huge tangle mess. Once this happened, twisting up on itself, it's impossible to untangle. I ended up cutting my thread and throwing that mass out and starting in on a new skein, outside pull. Nice yarn but it takes time to work with and changing up the hook type to help with the splitting.

Soft yarn and a pleasure to knit with. I am knitting a children's sweater with it and will be buying it again in the future for children's sweaters

This is one of the Skein Tone colors! I have several of those now and love the depth of each of them. Gorgeous!

Brick & mortar stores near me that carry yarn are about all closed. Have to hunt & hunts for the yarn I need for projects. Ordered on-line, received pretty quickly, & yarn was as described. Was pleased with my purchase.

I got this yarn originally in a surprise pack, and fell in love with the color way and how incredibly soft it is. I proceeded to buy more just because I liked it, then again bought more with a sweater in mind! I can't wait to start it! ❤️
