I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!
I love this yarn! I make baby blankets to donate to local places. The yarn is soft, doesn't split, and has a great colo selection. AND its machine wash and dry!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

Love this tissue box! Helpful hint when assembling - leave one side open, tack on roof, then close up side and add base last. It was difficult to add roof last and reach up inside to attach it.
This will go with the full Halloween House pattern from back in the 80's or 90's. That one is still a favorite. You all should make that one available again.
Have to say this one is my favorite and I have made several tissue boxes. Love the lacy trim on the roof. It looked a bit daunting but the pieces (shutters, ghosts, bats, picket fence) are small and work up quickly. The sides go fast too because the stitches are longer, not individual. I grabbed the pattern kit when I saw it on sale. So glad I did.

This tissue box cover was my first project I have made from Mary Maxim. It turned out great, not that hard to make, the yarn quality was great and had plenty left over supplies. It was a fun conversational piece for the Halloween season.
